During Maine’s 132nd Legislature Long Session, LD 1906 (An Act to Improve Accountability and Understanding of Data in Insurance Transactions) was enacted, granting healthcare plan sponsors the right to conduct claims audits. Previously, restrictive contract terms made these audits impossible, limiting both their potential cost savings and transparency. Beginning in January 2026, all third-party administrator (TPA) and pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) contracts for Maine based employers must permit claims auditing.
Join us for a webinar that will provide an overview of claims auditing and hear from a vendor for Maine plan sponsors to consider.
